🌻 A Note From My Heart
While I originally created this wellness guide to share the daily routine that helps me manage fibromyalgia, my daughter, April, who is recovering from Guillain-Barré syndrome (GBS), encouraged me to share it because several parts of my routine have also supported her during recovery.
Although fibromyalgia and GBS are different conditions, we’ve discovered that some gentle wellness habits—such as nourishing meals, quality sleep, reducing stress, and creating a calming daily routine—have been meaningful parts of both of our journeys.
Every person’s health story is unique. What has helped us may not be appropriate for everyone, so always work with your healthcare provider to determine what’s right for you.
This page is simply our story, shared with hope that it encourages someone else along the way. 🌻

🌻 One Small Step at a Time | From My Heart to Yours
If you’ve made it this far, thank you for being here.
Living with fibromyalgia or any chronic illness isn’t about doing everything perfectly. It’s about taking one small step at a time.
Some days that step may be preparing a nourishing meal. Other days, it may simply be choosing to rest without guilt. Every step forward—no matter how small—is progress worth celebrating.
Thank you again, for spending part of your day with me. I hope something on this page has encouraged you, offered a new idea, or reminded you that you’re not walking this journey alone.
Take good care of yourself, give yourself grace, and remember…
Small Steps. Simple Choices. Stronger Me.
With love and encouragement,
Shelia 💛
Living with fibromyalgia has taught me that healing isn’t always about doing more. Sometimes it’s about slowing down, listening to your body, and giving yourself the same kindness you would offer a friend.
If you’re having a difficult day, know that you’re not alone. One small step, one nourishing meal, and one moment of rest at a time is enough.
Thank you for being here. 💜
